Location Details

The Spam-O-Rama location was featured in the 2019 Denver Tiki Tribe Home Bar Tour. This event is being hosted at a private residence/home tiki bar in Centennial, 80121; as shown to the left.

The exact location will be sent to ticket holders after purchase.

Seating is limited to the first 50 people, so please book as soon as possible!

Donation

We are asking for a $75 donation per person.

All proceeds to go to Foothills Animal Shelter.

Cocktail Contest

So you think you can shake? (cocktails that is!) Is your Mai Tai better than my Mai Tai? Prove it! Be prepared to make your cocktail for our judges and in front of a live audience.

Eligibility: Open to only those that submit a complete entry form and are attending the world famous Spam-O-Rama

Contest Period/How to Enter: Entries will be accepted before August 23rd. The entry must include the cocktail name, recipe, and picture of the final presentation. The beverage must be made with a Ballmer Peak spirit. Any cocktail recipe that is discovered to be blatantly plagiarized will be disqualified.

The contest is limited to 5 participants from the entries submitted and we will alert you if your cocktail has been chosen to participate in the live event.

Cocktails will be judged based on:

• Authenticity -Originality, ingredients used (10 pts)
• Appearance – Garnish, ice, type of glass, overall look (10 pts)
• Taste – Mouthfeel, balance (70 pts)

Live Competition Rules

1. Drinks must be assembled in front of the judges and must not contain more than seven ingredients, excluding garnishes.
2. Competitors must supply their own bartending tools (shaker, bar spoon, strainer etc.) and glassware. An electric blender and spindle mixer will be provided by the organizers.
3. Competitors must supply their own ingredients and garnishes.
4. Cocktails may be presented in any glass, ceramic or other hygienic and food safe receptacle. (Note: points are awarded for presentation.) No brand name or logo other than the regular discrete mark of the glassware manufacturer should be visible (sponsoring brand excepted).
5. The organizers will have cubed ice (approx. 25ml/1 inch square) and pebble ice, on hand but competitors should bring their own ice to ensure that it is available.
6. Each competitor must present three (3) cocktails for the judges, but being able to make additional drinks for others to taste is more than welcome.
7. Competitors must be able to prepare drinks within a maximum of seven minutes but will be given five minutes prior to making their drink to familiarize themselves with the bar area and prepare equipment and ingredients.
8. Due to safety concerns, the use of fire and flames is prohibited.
9. Competitors are encouraged to explain their cocktails to the judges while making them.
